Roscommon student features at Belfast art exhibition

The best of Ireland’s young artistic talent was on show at the Ulster Museum in Belfast recently when many young artists – all prizewinners in this year’s 63rd Texaco Children’s Art Competition – were present at the official opening of an exhibition in which their works take pride of place.

  Among them was eleven-year-old Ruth Donoghue from Tarmonbarry, whose piece, entitled, ‘Tiger Lily’, won her a prize at the exhibition.
