Petmania has opened a new superstore at the Centre Point Retail Park in Roscommon town as part of a major three-year northwest expansion programme launched in 2020.
As part of the expansion, the Irish owned pet-retailer has created 30 new jobs in the northwest, bringing the total number employed by the company to over 200.
Westport native Liam Laffey has filled the position of store manager with Ollie Quinn employed as assistant manager of the Roscommon Branch.
Further jobs will be creted for pet-care advisors, full-time professional dog groomers and wash and dry assistants.

The new Petmania store will be open seven days a week and features weight check facilities, specialist pet food and nutritional supplies plus accessories, bedding, safety equipment and much more. A state-of-the-art dog-grooming studio will open in mid-February.
