Roscommon’s senior footballers will face Monaghan in Clones in round 2B of the All-Ireland football championship on the weekend of June 13th and 14th.
The draw was made on Tuesday morning at the Hodson Bay Hotel by GAA President Jarlath Burns and the Chairman of the GAA’s CCCC committee, Brian Carroll.
Fixture details are expected to be confirmed later on Tuesday or on Wednesday.
Roscommon and Monaghan have already met this year, with the Rossies defeating Monaghan in the league at Dr Hyde Park by 3-16 to 1-16.
The other round 2B fixtures are Cavan v Dublin, Kildare v Kerry and Derry v Meath.
In round 2A, the fixtures are Donegal v Cork, Galway v Westmeath, Tyrone v Mayo, and Louth v Armagh.
