Roscommon has achieved a significant milestone, ranking second nationally for the total value of approved projects under the 2023–2027 LEADER Programme. This strong performance reflects the high standard of project applications submitted and approved across the county, as well as the proactive engagement and collaboration between individuals, businesses, community and voluntary groups, and the Local Action Group.
The LEADER Programme continues to play a vital role in supporting rural development, fostering innovation, and strengthening communities throughout County Roscommon. The success to date demonstrates the ambition and commitment of local stakeholders in driving sustainable economic and social development.
