Online sale for weanlings: We had a good entry of stock at our first online sale of weanlings held on Tuesday last. There was a good trade for both bulls and heifers with a high percentage of lots getting sold. Many of the customers viewed the stock before the sale and went on to bid online both at home and on site.
Online sales will continue each Tuesday for weanlings, and bookings are accepted up to 5 pm on Thursday, May 14th. Please note that all stock must be penned by 2 pm. Stock arriving late will be not be accepted. Online sale commences at 4 pm. Viewing time for buyers from 2.15 pm to 3.45 pm.
Sheep Assembly Sale: There was a similar entry of sheep on offer at Wednesday’s sheep assembly. Spring lambs made up to €133 for 50.7kgs. Hoggets made up to €128 for 61.7 kgs. Stag ewes made from €82 up to €130 per head. Please note all sheep must be tagged with a full yellow EID Tag set.
Our next sheep assembly is next Wednesday, 20th of May. Bookings for sheep are on Tuesday, 19th of May from 11 am to 1 pm. Sheep to be penned by 10 am on day of assembly.
