The Roscommon intermediate ladies’ football team are now in search of a new manager for next season following the departure of Ollie Lennon and his backroom team.
A meeting of the Roscommon LGFA executive took place on Monday and, following recommendations from the Roscommon LGFA Development Committee, it was decided that the services of Lennon and his management team were no longer required.
Lennon, who led Roscommon to a Division Three League title and All-Ireland semi-final in 2022 had served two years as manager. He and his management team had previously expressed a desire to continue next season, despite a difficult 2023 which led to relegation from Division Two.
They won the Connacht intermediate title in May but struggled in the championship with losses against Wexford and Monaghan before defeating Louth in a relegation play-off.
