The Roscommon Intercultural Quilt is currently on display in Cuisle Holiday and Respite Centre in Donamon, Co. Roscommon until Thursday, 27th March. The 10ft X 8ft, 24 panel, unique work of art was created by 26 women living in the County Roscommon. The women are from local women’s Groups, The Travelling Community, Active Age Groups, Pakistan, Russia, Brazil, Africa, Germany, England and America. The Project was funded by The Combat Poverty Agency and Roscommon County Development Board and was managed by Roscommon Women’s Network (RWN) a Community Development Project.
