Eligible sports clubs across Roscommon are being invited to apply for a €5,000 award through the Texaco Support for Sport initiative.
The scheme offers funding to one club in each of the Republic’s 26 counties, with a total fund of €130,000.
Applications for the 2027 initiative are open until Thursday, January 21st.
Clubs must hold the required Games and Sports tax exemption and feature on the Revenue Commissioners’ qualifying list published on July 2nd, 2026. Previous award-winning clubs are excluded under the scheme’s published rules.
Applicants are asked to explain their club’s activities, its contribution to the community and how the funding would be used. A club constitution must also be submitted.
Previous Roscommon recipients include Tremane GAA Club, Boyle GAA Club, Boyle Camogie Club, Pádraig Pearses GAA Club and Reeside AC.
Broadcaster and former Ireland rugby international Donncha O’Callaghan will again lead the adjudication process.
Registration, eligibility rules and application details are available at texacosupportforsport.com.
