Christmas Season in Roscommon town kicks off this Friday (24th) when local businesses take part in Black Friday, offering significant discounts to customers on the day and indeed over the weekend.
The highlight of the weekend, however, promises to be the arrival of Santa Claus to Roscommon town on Sunday to switch on the Christmas lights. As in previous years, Gleeson’s Restaurant, Rogue & Co., The Comfy Café, Molloy’s Bakery, The Pepper Mill and Harrison’s Coffee House will be working together to offer free hot chocolate to all children attending the #rosmas event. AIB will also be sponsoring the Best Christmas Window Display competition and Roscommon Chamber encourages all members and other businesses in town to put in a special effort this year to deck out their properties with festive cheer.
