Roscommon’s minor Camogie side are All Ireland ‘B’ champions for 2023 following a magnificent display against Laois in Birr on Sunday.

Roscommon were on top throughout and led by 1-4 to 0-4 at half time with Ava Mulry scoring a superb goal in the 27th minute. With Player of the match Siofra Hession, brilliant Roscommon pulled away in the second half. A Laois goal from Aoife Daly in the 55th minute was the only consolation for the losers.

Roscommon, managed by Colm Kelly and Sean O’Brien ran out the deserved 1-14 to 1-5 winners in the end.
