Insurance brokers in County Roscommon are being invited to apply for a new fund which could double donations they make to local charities.
The Intact Insurance Broker Partnership Fund will match successful charitable donations from broker partners by up to €5,000.
Under the scheme, employees of broker firms can nominate an eligible registered charity which they already support. Where an application is approved, Intact Insurance will match the broker’s contribution and pay the additional funding directly to the charity.
Eligible causes can include organisations working in education, health, employment and training, food support, recreation and other community services.
Applications are now open and will close on November 13.
