A Roscommon native who now leads digital manufacturing for one of the world’s largest healthcare companies, MSD, returned home this week to mark International Women’s Day at the 2026 Women in STEM Summit taking place in Croke Park in Dublin.
Lisa McEvoy, originally from Co Roscommon and now Associate Vice President of Digital Manufacturing globally at MSD, travelled from the company’s global campus in Pennsylvania to join national and international leaders for the event. Working as a global leader in digital manufacturing, Lisa leads the development and scaling of digital technologies across MSD’s worldwide manufacturing network, a position that places her at the forefront of digital innovation in global healthcare.
As part of MSD’s sponsorship of this year’s summit, Lisa represented the company’s global leadership team and joined discussions on how inclusive cultures, strong skills pathways and diverse representation can accelerate innovation across science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
She was joined by MSD colleagues from the company’s eight Irish locations across Carlow, Cork, Tipperary Meath, Louth and Dublin. Together, they participated in conversations on how organisations can better support women at all stages of their STEM careers, from early training and education to senior leadership and strategic influence.

Being back home and reconnecting with colleagues across Ireland has been energising, and a strong reminder of the incredible talent and potential that exists in communities all over the country.”
