RHS Home Care are holding an Open Day promoting Positive Ageing 2016. The guest speaker on the day is Mary O’Rourke former, TD and Minister.
RHS Home Care are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the HSE Enhanced Home Care Tender 2016. This is an acknowledgement from the HSE that RHS Home Care provides quality caring Home Care services for hundreds of clients across the west, northwest and midlands.
RHS Home Care are working in conjunction with Age Action to promote Positive Ageing 2016. You are invited to join them in Hannon’s Hotel, Athlone Road, Roscommon Town, Co. Roscommon on Monday, 26th of September from 10 am-4 pm. They will have information about care services and QQI accredited courses, which RHS Home Care are running in partnership with NCU Training. Manual Handling/People Moving training is HSE approved and is available for all carers. Whether you are a family carer or a carer in the community, you are more than welcome to attend.

The first guest speaker on the day will be Mary O’Rourke, former TD for Longford/Westmeath. She will be speaking about retirement and positive ageing (at 2 pm).
An Garda Síochána Crime Prevention Officer, who will be speaking about Personal Safety, Home Security and Community Awareness, will follow this.
RHS Home Care’s services are delivered on a not-for-profit basis by a highly-skilled healthcare and domestic assistant staff, under the management of supervisors, coordinators, management team and board of directors. The service is run as a Co-op and is unique in Ireland and the first social care co-operative of its kind in Europe.
