REGARI Recovery College Information Nights locally

REGARI Recovery College is a community-based initiative providing education for adults on mental health, recovery and wellbeing-related topics.

REGARI Recovery College is for anyone over the age of eighteen. We encourage people with lived experience of mental health challenges, family members/carers, people working in mental health and people with an interest in mental health, recovery and wellbeing and the wider community to get involved.

All of our modules are co-produced and co-facilitated by people with lived experience, family members/carers and people working in mental health or area relating to the module topic. This provides a unique learning environment where various perspectives can be explored.

Our Autumn/Winter Term starts in September with modules running in Athlone IT, Ballinasloe Library and the Property Registration Authority in Roscommon. There is a registration fee of €5 per term and all modules are then free to attend.  You choose the module or modules you wish to attend. Our modules are very much collaborative and conversation-based, with the focus being on shared learning.

Come along to one of our information nights in Ballinasloe Library on Tuesday, 29th of August at 6.30 pm, Roscommon LEADER Partnership on Wednesday, 30th August at 6.30 pm and Athlone Institute of Technology on Monday, 4th September 7.30 pm. Registration is available on these nights along with our registration days on 5th, 6th and 7th of September in Ballinasloe, Roscommon and Athlone, respectively.
