A storytelling production developed at Rathcroghan is continuing its journey to audiences outside County Roscommon following its latest performance in Sligo.
Who Shot Queen Medb? tells the story of the Táin Bó Cúailnge and Cruachán Aí through an evening of storytelling led by Mike McCarthy of Rathcroghan Visitor Centre.
The production explores the origins of Queen Medb and her famous cattle raid on Ulster, along with characters including Cúchulainn, Fráoch, Macha and the Mórrígan.
The show originated from storytelling events delivered around County Roscommon and was developed into a full production which premiered at Roscommon Arts Centre in August 2025.
Following its latest performance at the Factory Performance Space in Sligo on September 25, the production is due to travel to The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon on Thursday, October 29.
The Carrick-on-Shannon performance begins at 8 pm and runs for approximately one hour.
