The Maria Watt Birmingham Foundation for children and teenage leukaemia extends a massive thank you to all its supporters in Glinsk, Creggs, Ballymoe, and Ballintubber. The GAA charity football match held on 12th January was a great success with the teams from Glinsk/Creggs v Ballymoe/Ballintubber turning out on a very cold and wet afternoon. ‘Our sincere thanks goes to everyone who took part. You raised a total of €3,000 and we can assure you that every euro will be used in the fight against this devastating illness,’ said a spokesperson for the foundation.
