Motorists in County Roscommon are being advised of a temporary road closure affecting the R367 between Ballintober and Castleplunket from today, Tuesday, September 29.
The road will remain closed until Friday, October 2 to facilitate road improvement works.
The closure affects the R367 between Ballintober and Castleplunket, with motorists being diverted while the works are carried out.
Traffic travelling from Ballintober will be diverted via the R377 towards Castleplunket before continuing along the L1618 and L1640.
Traffic travelling in the opposite direction will follow the same diversion route in reverse.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.
Motorists using the route are advised to allow additional time for their journeys while the temporary traffic arrangements remain in place.
