The Roscommon Intercultural Quilt is currently being exhibited in Strokestown Park House until end of April 2008. This 10 ft x 8 ft, 24 panel, unique and beautiful work of art was created by 26 women from all over the world who are living in the county Roscommon. The project was funded by the Combat Poverty Agency and Roscommon County Development Board and was managed by Roscommon Women’s Network Community Development Project (CDP). The main aim of the project was to raise awareness of UN International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on 17th October. For further information contact Nora Fahy on (094) 96 21690.
