Property Partners Earley Roscommon conducted another successful multi-lot public auction on Thursday last which comprised of a number of prime holdings of non-residential farms in the Roscommon area.
“The auction was held in ‘The Central Bar, Roscommon town and was well attended by over 40 people,” according to John Earley, who conducted the auction.
The first property comprised of 52.81 acres set out in two lots located at Mullymux, Roscommon, Co. Roscommon. The property opened at €350,000 and after a very competitive bidding contest between a number of bidders was knocked down to a local farmer for the figure of €435,000.
The second property, located at Kinnity, Fourmilehouse, Co. Roscommon, comprised of 14.26 acres in total and opened on the floor at €30,000. After 25 bids, the property was eventually sold for the figure of €64,000.
The third property, located at Dooherty, Fourmilehouse, of 11.43 acres was withdrawn at €33,000 and negotiations are ongoing by private treaty.
The lands containing 32.91 acres located at Ballinderry, Fourmilehouse, were withdrawn prior to auction and the agents advise that the plot of lands containing 3.36 acres will be offered for sale by private treaty and welcome enquiries and offers to sell.
