Proud day for Kilmore GAA Club

Next Sunday 10th June will be a proud day for Kilmore GAA Club when the President of the association Nicky Brennan will officially open the magnificent new clubrooms and complex at the local GAA pitch at 3.30 pm.   Two years ago the development was launched by the then President of the GAA Mr. Sean Kelly and since then a new complex featuring new dressingrooms, club meeting rooms, gym, kitchen, new covered stand and other facilities has been provided. The estimated cost of the whole development is in the region of €300,000. The line-up of events on Sunday is as follows: 2pm: Under 10 games featuring Kilmore, St. Michaels, Shannon Gaels and Kilglass Gaels. 3.20pm: Blessing of new complex by Rev. Fr. Moore PP.  3.30pm-Official Opening by GAA President Nicky Brennan. 3.45pm-Senior game-Kilmore v Shannon Gaels. 4.30pm-Half Time Ladies underage game. 5.20pm: Presentation to senior players. 5.30pm: Refreshments at club rooms. 6pm-8pm: Music by Enda Beirne.
