The Hollywood Bar was the venue last Friday for the second leg of the Roscommon Town & District Pool League final between The Hollywood and Rattigan’s of Kilrooskey. The first leg had resulted in a 4-4 and with it being the first team to reach 9 it was all to play for on the night.
It went down to the wire with Kevin Keegan and Eamonn Cummins stepping up The Hollywood and Rattigan’s respectively as the second leg finished at 8 frames apiece.
Cummins won the toss and almost finished from the break. While Keegan was given a slight chance he was facing an uphill task and the advantage was with Cummins, who potted the last colour playing off the top cushion to the middle. He then coolly rolled the black in to wild celebrations from the Kilrooskey players and supporters.
