Castlerea boxer Aoife O’Rourke takes to the ring this afternoon in the 75kg final of the European Games with a European gold medal up for grabs. She will face Davina-Myrha Michel from France, with the fight expected to begin at approximately 12.30pm.
O’Rourke defeated the Polish fighter Elzbieta Wojcik in the semi-final of the European Games on Friday evening which secured her place at the Olympic Games in Paris next summer.
