This is the beautiful commissioned painting of singer Annie McNulty which is sponsored by the Roscommon People and will be presented to musician Mick Maloney next weekend. The annual Annie McNulty Weekend takes place in the Knockcroghery area next week, beginning with the second Annie McNulty Seminar in the County Library, Roscommon on Thursday (25 October). On Saturday night, 27 October, the Annie McNulty Award will be presented to Mick Maloney at a function in The Widow Pat’s in Knockcroghery. The Roscommon People has sponsored this magnificent portrait of Ms. McNulty, which depicts her against a backdrop which includes the Mass Rock at Kilteevan and which was commissioned by the South Roscommon Singers Circle. The painting is by Philip Brennan, a Clare based teacher, singer-songwriter and artist.
