Met Éireann have issued an orange freezing fog warning for most of the country this afternoon, including County Roscommon. The warning will stay in place until midnight tonight.
Along with the latest orange warning, there is still a yellow ice warning in place for the entire country, which has been extended until Friday, as the cold snap is set to continue.

The sub-zero temperatures have also made driving conditions extremely hazardous and the Road Safety Authority is urging motorists to take care on the roads if and when travelling.
