Oran take Camogie title

Roscommon Junior Camogie Final Oran 4-10 Four Roads 0-4 The Roscommon Junior Camogie Championship final took place in Four Roads on Saturday evening with Oran and Four Roads contesting the final. Oran ran out convincing winners on a scoreline of 4-10 to 0-4.    The scoreline however did not reflect the game itself. It was a good game of camogie with both teams fighting hard for the 60 minutes. Oran’s forwards were on target with all six of them scoring. Four Roads fought hard throughout but Oran were on target both from play and also from placed balls. Four Roads made some runs through but the Oran defence were tight only conceding only four points.  Best for Oran on the day were Clodagh Rodgers, Claire Curley, Claire Casey, Catriona Regan and Emer Farrell.
