Roscommon U-20 team manager Cian Smith has made one change to his starting team for Wednesday evening’s All-Ireland semi-final clash with Kerry at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles.
Colin Murray of St Ciaran’s comes into the half-back line in place of Conor Grogan of Roscommon Gaels. The game throws in at 7.30 pm.
The semi-final follows Roscommon’s dramatic Connacht final win over Mayo, with Smith’s side now one game away from an All-Ireland decider.
Meanwhile, there has been further recognition for Roscommon following Sunday’s senior Connacht final victory over Galway.
No fewer than six Roscommon players were named on the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week, with Conor Carroll, Caelim Keogh, Senan Lambe, Darragh Heneghan, Diarmuid Murtagh and Conor Ryan all selected.
Darragh Heneghan has also been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week following his outstanding display in Roscommon’s 3-21 to 2-22 win over Galway. Heneghan, who scored 2-2 in the provincial final, topped the public vote ahead of Kerry’s David Clifford and Offaly’s Dylan Hyland.
