The Night and Day festival, which will run for its third year in 2024, has this afternoon announced that next year’s festival will extend from a 2-day festival to a 3-day festival and they have also released early bird weekend tickets for €99.
The third instalment of the Roscommon-based festival, which has previously featured acts such as Mercury Rev, The Zutons, Pillow Queens, The Hothouse Flowers, and Orla Gartland will be, once again, taking place in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and festivalgoers can avail of the brilliant facilities in the park, including ziplining and kayaking.
The €99 (plus booking fee) super early bird tickets gets buyers a full weekend camping ticket for one adult and up to two children in the general or family camping areas.
Speaking on the announcement, festival director Brendan Hurley said: “We’ve truly found a home at Lough Key Forest Park and are delighted to announce we’ll be situated there again next June. The facilities are fantastic for families and individuals alike and really help set the scene for a safe, fun and diverse festival experience. Following feedback from attendees this year, we’ve decided to add an extra day to the festival so that people can unwind and settle in for a longer weekend. We have been privileged to feature a wealth of amazing local and international talent, but celebrating Irish indigenous artists remains at the heart of what we want to do, and an extra day helps us extend that opportunity to even more great homegrown acts.”
