Shoe Box Appeal in Ballaghaderreen

Team Hope’s Operation Christmas Child is currently taking place in Ballaghaderreen, giving the gift of love across the globe. Many children who receive a Christmas shoe box are living in orphanages, hospitals, homes, in the street or in families stuck in the poverty trap. Families in the parish are urged to please, if possible, fill a shoe box for the less well off in the developing world. Flyers are available at the back of the church.

Boxes will be collected at Mass on Sunday morning. The shoe box should be wrapped (lid and box separately), the age group you wish the box of goodies to go to (i.e. 2-4, 5-9, 10-14 noted and whether it’s for a boy, or girl. Full list of suggested items is available at the back of the church). Representatives from Team Hope will be present at Mass next Sunday.
