It appears that some competitors are finding it difficult to download the entry form from the Comhaltas national website.
There is a Facebook alternative – Fleadh Cheoil Ros Comáin 2018 or Comhaltas Bhaile Ros Comáin.
Don’t forget, there’s only about a week to get your entries to your local Comhaltas Secretary by closing date, which is 23rd of February (Easter is much earlier this year).
5km and 10km Walk/Run in Donamon
Oran Gets Active 2018 in conjunction with Roscommon Sports Partnership is hosting a 5km and 10km Walk/Run on Sunday, 25th of February 2018 leaving Cuisle, Donamon, Co. Roscommon at 12 noon. Registration starts at 11 am.
Prizes for first male and female home. Cost €10. Open to all.

The Friendship Circle
All are welcome to come to the Friendship Circle for chat, refreshments, games, music and activities. They are held on Sundays from 4-6 pm at The Core (corner of Church Street & Abbey Street).
Special Mass for Healing of the Family Tree
Special Mass for Healing of the Family Tree will take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea Prayer Centre, Curraghboy, Athlone on Thursday, 22nd of February, commencing at 8 pm. The celebrant will be Fr. John Walsh.
Confessions will be available from 7 pm prior to Holy Mass and individual blessings for healing will take place after Mass. All are most welcome. Contact: 086-4054489.
Tractor Run for CF in Ballydangan
A major Tractor Run in aid of Cystic Fibrosis is being held in Ballydangan this weekend.
The Tractor Run will commence at Connaughton’s Pub, Clonark, Ballydangan on Sunday, February 18th.
Registration from 11.30 am-12.15 pm. Entry fee: €20.
All proceeds are going towards research for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. Your support will be greatly appreciated and all are welcome on the day.
Four Roads Healthy Club launches Walk n’ Talk
Four Roads Healthy Club launches Walk n’ Talk in Tisrara Community Sports Park on Sunday, February 18th.
This initiative aims to encourage all members of our community to come together as a social group while also having the added benefit of getting active.
Walk n’ Talk will start at 4 pm every Sunday with walkers welcome to join us any time between then and 6 pm. All age groups are welcome and encouraged to attend.
This is just the first of many health and well-being initiatives that Four Roads Healthy Club hopes to roll out over the coming year so watch this space! #HealthyFourRoads
Irish Heart Foundation Mobile Health Unit
As part of the Healthy Ireland at Your Library initiative, the Irish Heart Foundation Mobile Health Unit will be outside Roscommon Library on Saturday, 17th of February from 10 am-4 pm.
Why not come along and avail of free blood pressure checks and information on heart health from qualified nurses. Your support is appreciated.
‘True Friends’ in Rooskey
Rooskey Community Centre will host the production, ‘True Friends’, on Friday, March 9th at 8 pm (doors 7.30 pm).
The play was written by local man, Seamus Lannon, and features Frank Hussey, Liz Durkin and Roisín Sweeney.
