Information will also be available on the art classes and workshops he conducts.    Alan works mostly in acrylics and pastels and has been demonstrating and exhibiting his work throughout Ireland and the UK for the last 12 years.     ‘In fact’ he states, ‘This ‘at Home weekend’ is simply the first in a series of exhibitions and demonstrations I shall be undertaking during the summer months. In the May and July I shall be at the Arts Fairs in the north of England before returning to Ireland in August for the Kilkenny Arts Festival. This will be my tenth year exhibiting in Kilkenny and then, in September, I return to the UK for an ‘Artist in residence Weekend’ at the stately home near Worchester.’    Anyone wishing to visit the Alanart studio/gallery over the open weekend, but outside the hours listed, can do prior arrangement.
