Newly expanded store features wide product range

A doubling of the floor space in McGuinness Pharmacy in Roscommon as part of a recent refurbishment of the premises has allowed the store to carry an expanded range in terms of perfumes, a digital photo counter, jewellery, health point, men’s skincare ranges and an extensive babycare range. One new range which is set to prove particularly popular with local customers is the Christian Dior counter. McGuinness now stocks the full Christian Dior range, as well as the full La Roche Posay range and Dolce and Gabbana perfumes. The expanded premises also gives the opportunity to display a full range of perfumes. New lighting in the store and a well-designed floorspace gives the new premises a bright, airy feeling, with lots of space to browse through the various ranges.  A new digital photo counter is a central part of the new store. There are three screens and three computers available at all times, so this is a particularly busy part of the business. Old family photos can be scanned and re-worked to ensure that your ancestors are looking their best. Alternatively, you can ensure that your old photos are never lost by getting them put on CD, which means that they can be shared with others through email. If you’re wondering about the best way to display your photos, there a full range of digital photo frames, with prices starting at €99. McGuinness Pharmacy also has an extensive range of photo frames and albums. A wide range of digital cameras is also available at McGuinness. Then check out the health point system at McGuinness Pharmacy which can help you research ailments, drugs and vitamins and print outs are free. Of course, you can also speak in confidence to Ollie or any of the five pharmacists at McGuinness, availing of their expert advice in the comfort and privacy of a consulting room at the rear of the store.  If you’re not too expert when it comes to applying make-up, then why not opt for a mid-week makeover at McGuinness with make up artist Shirley Whyte Kelly or beautician Amanda Keane? Both women will take the time to give you advice about skin care and make-up, ensuring that you get the most from your make-up and they can also help you pick out skincare products to best suit your skin. Likewise, Amanda and Shirley also apply false nails for people purchasing nails at the store who aren’t sure about their application. Once you’re all glammed up by the make-up artists, you can pick out a small piece of jewellery to finish off your outfit. Catrice is a range of make-up available at McGuinness which is designed for younger customers and is keenly priced to suit their pockets. They also stock Christina Aguilera and Kate Moss perfumes for the younger age groups.  A hearing aid specialist attends McGuinness every fortnight and Alice from the House of Avalon in Taughmaconnell visits the pharmacy once a week. She carries out a weight management course and also a stress management course. Popular  McGuinness Pharmacy is one of the few local stores which takes passport photos which are the correct size under new regulations from the Passport Office. Trained staff are always available to take passport photos at McGuinness.
