It’s funded primarily through the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment, and it was set up by local member companies who wanted to avail of top-quality training in locally. Because it’s a network of member companies, members can avail of training at much lower costs. ‘Our members tell us that the main benefits are the greatly reduced costs, the access to top quality trainers, and the fact that CPD (Continuous Professional Development) accreditation hours can be accrued for relevant courses. Members include business owners, managers and staff and there has been a great response from financial services sector in the west to date,’ she added.
