New skin scanner launched at Diva

A newly arrived state-of-the-art skin scanner was launched at Diva Skin Care and Body Clinic in Roscommon on Friday night last. Proprietor Yvonne Devaney was joined by clients, family and friends for the occasion and guests had the opportunity to have a free skin assessment using the latest in ultra violet technology. A cheese and wine reception ensured a convivial atmosphere and a number of clients had their skin assessed. The scanning assessment allows better targeting of products and the cost of the scan for clients is redeemable against products purchased. Yvonne, who is a trained practitioner with the new scanner, explains, ‘The new ultra violet scanner shows pigmentation and sun damage and dehydration and you can then target problem areas with various products. It shows up what the naked eye cannot see.’ It’s three years since Yvonne opened the doors at Diva at the Square, Roscommon and in that time the business has flourished.
