Tonight’s Roscommon County Board meeting heard that Roscommon GAA hopes to have a new senior football manager in place ‘within a week’.
The meeting came amid rumours that former Kerry star, Kieran Donaghy, was set to be installed.
Donaghy, who is part of the Armagh backroom team, strongly denied speculation linking him to the job on social media this evening.
Taking to Twitter to pour cold water on the rumours, Donaghy said that he had not spoken to anyone about the job before adding that “WhatsApp rumours are a scary thing.”
