Almost 200 former Bord na Mona workers in the Lanesborough-Ballyleague/Curraghroe/Ballagh/Kilgefin area are to be offered a fresh opportunity to engage with training and information about their social welfare entitlements at a special information event.
Roscommon LEADER Partnership SICAP team are holding the event on Wednesday, February 2nd 2022, at 3 pm and again at 7 pm in St Mary’s Bingo Hall, Ballyleague.

There will also be an opportunity to sign up for health and safety courses, CV preparation and digital skills training, etc.
A panel of professional experts from Citizens Information Centre will be there to give an insight into pension rights, tax issues surrounding redundancy payments and all available supports – and how to maximise your income through social welfare.
