A new €6 million capital fund has been announced to support improvements to arts and cultural facilities across Ireland.
The Arts Capital Investment Fund pilot scheme is intended to help organisations purchase equipment and undertake refurbishment works.
Supported improvements include climate action measures, health and safety upgrades, and works to make facilities more accessible.
Applications were scheduled to open on Thursday, October 1.
The scheme includes support for equipment used by arts and cultural organisations and multi-use centres providing or developing dedicated arts facilities.
Announcing the fund, Minister for Culture Patrick O’Donovan said the investment was intended to improve access to arts and cultural activity.
Roscommon organisations considering a project should consult the published eligibility criteria and application guidance before applying.
