The environmentally friendly waste water treatment system business is to feature on ‘Nationwide’ on Wednesday, October 24th, at 7 pm. The company designs and manufactures sewage treatment systems, near the village of Loughglynn, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. Nationwide reporter Alastair Jackson, visited the owner Brendan Gordon at his office and manufacturing plant to film the systems being made on what was originally his own family home farm and is now converted to an industrial plant. The project won the Roscommon County Enterprise Award last month and is shortlisted for the National Enterprise Awards in November. The system the company produces is certified by the Irish Agrement Board for upgrading existing septic tanks or for use in new one-off rural houses, and is fully compliant with Building Regulations. The benefits for new houses is that the system has a large capacity and can cater for bigger households of up to eight people or even small commercial premises at a very competitive price.
