Delegates and observers from the Roscommon Community Games Executive Committee attended the HSE Community Games National AGM, held last weekend at West County Hotel, Ennis, Co Clare. Plenty of lively discussions about a number of issues took place, one being the move from Mosney to a new venue for the All Ireland finals. This will mark the beginning of changes over the next two years, within the organisation. A special committee has been formed to look into suitable venues around the country and it is hoped that the end of 2008 ‘home’ will find a new, so that agreements and arrangements can be finalised and completed enabling competitions to take place in 2010. A new Board of Directors was elected with some members re-elected to previous positions and Michael Curley elected as the new National President.
