There is speculation that the only name set to go before Roscommon GAA County Board delegates for the position of new Roscommon U-21 football manager will be Roscommon Gaels player and former county senior footballer, Michael Ryan. When contacted by the Roscommon People on Tuesday Michael Ryan said that he was not aware that his name would be the only one before the board, but he admitted that he had done two interviews for the job in recent weeks. ‘We will wait and see’ was his only comment. The matter is expected to be come before the next meeting of Roscommon GAA County Board which will be held on next Monday night.
