The temperature is set to fall below -5C tomorrow night as a brand new Status Orange weather warning has been issued for 19 counties including Co. Roscommon. The warning is valid from 6pm tomorrow night until noon on Thursday.
Met Éireann have issued the Status Orange low temperature and ice warning for counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Leitrim and Roscommon.
The weather will be “extremely cold” tomorrow night “with widespread temperatures below -5C leading to severe frost and ice” according to the Met Éireann website
