Maths is always on the menu at Rahara NS and this week three third class students in the school, Sean Kenny, Graham Geraghty and Michael Connaughton, won a prize for their outstanding performance at World Maths Day 2008. World Maths Day is a global celebration of numbers. Students from across the world united on 5th March 2008 in their quest to set a world record in answering as many questions as possible. This year more than one million students from 20,000 schools from 150 different countries participated and managed to answer a whopping 182,455,169 correct answers in 24 hours.
