Maria Watt Foundation say thank you

The Mulvihill Family from Toberroe, Glinsk would like to thank all those kind people who took part in and supported the recent GAA charity football match at St. Croan’s between Glinsk Creggs and Ballymoe Ballintubber on a very wet and windy Saturday afternoon. A total of €3,000 was raised on the day. A special word of thanks to Tom Cunningham who organised the event and to Garvey’s of Ballintubber for the lovely food they provided on the day. The Maria Watt Birmingham Foundation for Childhood and Teenage Leukaemia charity was set up by the Mulvihill family following the loss of their grandniece Maria Watt, to leukaemia in July 2005. Every euro of the money raised will be used in the fight against this devastating illness.
