A major Castlerea Enterprise Town event which will showcase all that’s positive in the local community is being held this weekend. The venue is The Enterprise Hub, The Demesne, Castlerea.
A Business & Community Expo is being held in the Castlerea Enterprise Hub tomorrow (Friday, 9th) from 5 pm-9 pm, while Saturday features a Sports & Community Expo at the same location between 11 am and 2 pm.
Shannonside Radio will also broadcast live from this weekend’s event.
Special guests will include Rachel Allen who will be judging cookery competitions with the local schools. Minister Denis Naughten will officially open the new Castlerea Food Hub. There will be panel discussions covering a wide range of topics including challenges facing local agriculture with guest speakers from Teagasc, Macra & IFA.
Santa Claus will also be in attendance in the kids corner of the hall and there will be music and entertainment for the family throughout the two days. Full details on pages 24-25.
