Ma??e?stwo polsko-?wiatowe!

Zwi?zki polaków z innymi nacjami znów sta?y si? do?? popularne. W?a?ciwie to ?ona Polka, m?? Grek. Mieszkaj? w Atenach czy na Rodos. Historie tych zwi?zków s? bardzo podobne. Ona par? lat temu by?a na wakacjach. Upa? prawie 40 stopni, kilka drinków. Wypatrzy?a go jak nie?mia?o rozgl?da? si? po pla?y. Romans trwa? do ko?ca turnusu. Romantyczne kolacje w nadmorskich restauracyjkach zakrapiane nieudoln? angielszczyzn? i pokazywaniem zdj?? rodziny. Zjawi?a si? niebawem z tobo?ami i zosta?a. On szcz??liwy, bo mo?e zaj?? si? ojcowizn? i piel?gnowa? greckie tradycje. Znam jeszcze jedn? internacjonaln? par?. Ona gor?ca Argentynka, on praktyczny polak. ?wietnie znali angielski, wi?c ca?ymi godzinami dyskutowali o ulubionej muzyce i pisarzach. Ze stanów wyjechali ju? razem jako narzeczeni. Ona chcia?a zobaczy? Obecnie wrócili do korzeni- mieszkaj? w Nowym Jorku. Ona czule szepta do niego: kocham ci?. On odpowiada: whats the story? Piszcie do mnie: martakamykowa@wp.pl  United nations At the moment, relationships between Polish people and people of different nationalities are popular. I am not the first to write about this because I remember stories of Polish kings being married off to princesses from different countries to further their political and economic aims. How are things looking now? Is it really hard to find a soul mate in our community?             Personally, I know a lot of Polish-Greek marriages. Actually, the wife is usually from Poland and the husband from Greece. They live in Athens or Rhodes and the stories of these relationships are often similar. A few years ago, she was in Greece on holidays, almost 30 degrees, few drinks and she found him when he was wandering around the beach looking lonely. A holiday romance ensued, romantic dinners in seaside restaurants, communication through broken English, swapping family pictures. After all that, going home was really hard. She couldn’t exist in her old Polish apartment complex. He spent all day beside the telephone kiosk waiting for a call. Then for the first time, that phrase ‘I love you and I am waiting for you’. He didn’t have to wait long. She came really soon with a lot of cases and she stayed.             At the beginning of the relationship, the outlook is bleak, but believe me, things are going well. He and she are the happy owners of a Polish restaurant in Greece and have settled on a similar language. After a few months his Polish has really improved. She almost doesn’t miss Poland because flights are really cheap and she can watch Polish TV. He is really happy because he can continue his Greek family traditions.             I know another international couple. She is hot Argentinian girl and he is practical Polish man. They met in a New York pub where they tried to earn some money for their studies. Both have excellent English and hours are spent discussing favourite music and authors. In the US they live like an engaged couple. She wants to see Poland and meet his parents. After a year they get married. The marriage was a really practical idea. She, as the wife of a man from the European Union, can work or travel anywhere without a problem. Now they are back to the beginning. They live in New York. She finishes her studies. He gets a job in the bank. Her Argentinian temperament and his Polish practical nature fit well together.             I don’t know yet of a Polish-Irish couple. With a smile, I can imagine a typical day in their lives. They wake up in a beautiful Dublin apartment. She whispers into his ear ‘I love you’ and he asks her ‘What’s the story?’ Now, I can’t write any more. Irish people are getting married to Irish or English women. Polish girls are getting together with Spanish and Italian guys. I wonder how the Polish-Irish wedding cake will taste? I don’t think that it will be to my liking, but if I find out, I’ll let you know. Now, I will leave that without any comments and go for dinner with my Polish boyfriend!
