Lots of entertainment on offer at Roscommon Arts Centre in the New Year

As 2022 draws to a close, we’re all looking ahead and wondering what the New Year has in store for us, and at Roscommon Arts Centre, a host of entertainment has already planned for January 2023.

Music lovers are in for a treat when virtuoso fiddle player Frankie Gavin and immensely talented pianist Catherine McHugh perform in the centre on Friday, January 13th. Together, Frankie and Catherine have been touring Ireland to promote their new collaboration, Frankie’s new album ‘Port Eireann’. This is sure to be a wonderful performance, so get your tickets now!

Comedy fans will also be happy to hear what’s on offer at Roscommon Arts Centre, with Irish father-daughter duo Pat and Faye Shortt set to perform their new comedy show, ‘Well’, on Friday, January 20th. With their hilarious dynamic and brilliant comic timing, this show is sure to be a barrel of laughs, so make sure you don’t miss out!

January will also see Roscommon Arts Centre host Livin’ Dred Theatre’s production of ‘Danti-Dan’ by Gina Moxley be performed. The play, directed by award-winning actor Aaron Monaghan, is shamelessly funny, following the story of five youngsters in a small, dead-end town in 1970. The play will be performed on January 27th and is guaranteed to be an absolute treat, so make sure you book your ticket now!
