The wait is nearly over as Leaving Cert students across Roscommon, and nationwide, will receive their results tomorrow, Friday, August 25th.
The results will issue to tens of thousands of students via the Candidate Self-Service Portal at 10am and the results will also be available in schools.
This will be the earliest release date for the leaving cert results since 2019, and even though the result date has returned to August, it is still not back to the pre-Covid norm of the middle of the month.
The first round of CAO offers will then follow next Wednesday, August 30th at 2pm.
Back in May Education Minister Norma Foley announced that the State Examinations Commission (SEC) confirmed the August 25 date ending a period of uncertainty for students.
“This is a significant and very welcome step towards pre-pandemic norms in relation to the timing for issue of results,” she said.
