Roscommon & District Soccer League round-up  Compiled by Dave Dibble and Vincent Brooks The Roscommon & District League bowed out of this season’s Oscar Traynor Cup Competition when they were beaten 2-1 by the Donegal league away at Letterkenny. Ballymote FC 1 Cloonfad United 1 (Cloonfad won 5-4 on penalties)  Cloonfad United are into round five of the Umbro Sponsored Connacht Cup after beating the Sligo/Leitrim Premier Division side Ballymote Celtic away in Ballymote. With thirty-seven minutes played Paddy Flatley was taken down in the Ballymote penalty area and David Keavney made no mistake from the penalty area. Ballymote Celtic equalised with eleven minutes of normal time left to play. The Polish player Lukas was on target.    The game went to extra time and a penalty shoot-out. Nobody in Cloonfad can remember when they won a penalty shoot-out but with the sides level at 4-4 Paddy Costello pulled off a brilliant save to deny Ballymote and Aiden O’Boyle kept his cool to win the game for Cloonfad United.
