Large Roscommon contingent expected at ICMSA AGM

The traditionally large Roscommon contingent will be expected to travel to the Limerick Radisson on Friday, November 17th, for the AGM of the specialist dairy farmer organisation, ICMSA.

The association has a large and engaged membership all over the country, but the established reputation of Roscommon’s dairy suppliers and their profile within ICMSA should ensure that local members will turn out for a line-up of speakers that begins with Minister Charlie McConalogue, ICMSA President Pat McCormack, and An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, and ends with the Minister for Transport, Environmental, Climate and Communications Eamon Ryan.

In what has been an extremely challenging year for Ireland’s critical dairy sector and one that was, according to ICMSA, most certainly not helped by Government policy, it’s expected that the problems in and around milk production will dominate.

There is an upper limit on the number who can attend. Roscommon members intending to travel for the AGM and stay for the Dinner should contact ICMSA at 061 314677 or and confirm, to avoid missing out.
