Kilbride will have their fingers crossed that it will be a case of third time lucky when they meet Four Roads in this year’s Ladies County Junior A final in Elphin on Saturday. They have been beaten at this stage in the competition in the previous two years but will hope that they will have gained experience from these campaigns to finally get their hands on the junior A title. They are being managed by Damien Gavigan, Michael Clabby and Mary Tully. They possess an array of talent with the likes of Anne-Marie Carley, Tara Taylor and Sinead Clabby all at their disposal for Saturday’s game. Manager of the Four Roads team is John Hynes and he will be hoping that they can reverse the defeat they received at the hands of Kilbride in earlier rounds to capture the title. For them, Niamh Coyle, Mary Grehan and Donna Kelly are all key members of their panel which will be going all out to secure the honours this coming Saturday. Again, there is little to choose between the teams but all will be revealed when the ball is thrown in at 4 pm in Elphin on Saturday.
