Roscommon outclassed Roscommon travelled to Ballymote on Saturday last to take on the home side on a dry but blustery evening and came home without the points, losing 3-10 to 1-7. This game was won in the opening 20 minutes when the wind-assisted Sligo ran into a 2-4 to 0-0 lead. Roscommon leave league game behind them in Coolaclare: On Sunday last at windswept Collaclare, Roscommon went down by the narrowest of margins to Limerick on a score of 2-10 to 3-6.
